I'm a composer and violinist living in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of Alabama.
I enjoy writing and performing a variety of musical styles, however these days I mostly spend my time composing choral music. Above all, I love the sacred choral music of the Orthodox Christian Church.
I graduated from Whitworth University in the Spring of 2020, where I studied composition with Brent Edstrom and Dr. Cary Boyce. During a semester abroad, I studied under the tutelage of Jurgen De Pillecyn at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Post-graduation, I also had the privilege of studying with Benedict Sheehan, a grammy-nominated conductor and Orthodox composer.
Recently, my music has been performed by Birmingham's Cahaba Chamber Chorale, the Alabama Choir School, the Birmingham Girls Choir, the St. Luke's Orthodox Church choir, and my home parish choir of St. Symeon's Orthodox Church.
