Premiere Recap: "Down to the River," Cahaba Chamber Chorale

The Cahaba Chamber Chorale gave a wonderful inaugural concert to a full audience of local music-lovers.

The concert's theme was "water," and the program pulled from a number of classic and contemporary greats. It was an honor to have a piece I arranged performed in such a great lineup, and by such a highly skilled ensemble. 

​I was nervous though, as I've stayed away from arrangements for fear of ruining someone's favorite song. But no eggs were thrown nor boo's hollered! Score! (pun intenteded)

Truly, it was great to receive so much positive feedback after the performance. Perhaps I won't be quite as hesitant in the future to arrange a piece people know and love.
